Setting Up a "Scandal" set and the "Tween Choice Awards"

In back of the Palladium concert hall, along El Centro Avenue, the stagehands were building a set for the TV show: Scandal.

Does this look Governmental?
In the far background, the tall building, is the W Hotel. On the rooftop is the Drai's Nightclub and swimming pool. You could wait in a long line to get "in" there.

The Ricardo Montalban Theater will be the venue the 24th Annual Tween Choice Awards - hosted by Nick Cannon. This is Vine Street, just above Selma Avenue. The pix aren't the best quality as I had to shoot into the setting sun.

The Tween Choice Awards, are a fictional award show that take place on Disney's Sunny With A Chance.

In the last pix, you can see some of the basketball court on top of the theater's roof.

August 30th 2010 - NOTHING HAPPENED IN HOLLYWOOD!

Sunset Vine Tower
And here is the proof! The fabled Sunset-Vine Tower has NO ad on it's east side. If you click the picture you can see the CNN building in the background. In a moment of unusualness, the camera caught the light at yellow at Sunset and Argyle.
Ricardo Montalban Theater

The Montalban Theater has no cartoon on it's south side.
Shades of UFOs and Conspiracies!

Ricardo Montalban part-1

Ricardo Montalban purchased a theater on Vine Street. This is the formerly named: Dolittle Theater. Located just above Selma Avenue on the west side of Vine Street. This picture is the theater from the south side of the building. The front facade is nice, but this picture is far more interesting.
