The Hollywood Rounder at the Hollywood Arclight Cinema

An actress I adore, Stana Katic (Castle on ABC-tv), has created the Alternative Travel Project. The ATP encourages everyone to give up their car for seven days and use alternate means of travel. By Bus, subway, bicycle or walking.

I took a photo of myself, on my bike, pedaling past the Arclight Cinema in Hollywood, and have submitted it to the growing gallery of photos of people who have committed to this project.

Ordinarily, I don't much get involved with causes, but as Ms. Katic asked me for a photo, I was happy to oblige.

Crazed Woman Is Out Of Focus

Have you ever heard the old saying: "You are so ugly you will break the camera."? That is what happened here. This woman's mood is so strange, that the camera could not focus properly.

Fruit Drink or Ice Tea?

The Hollywood Rounder was unable to determine whether the drink in the woman's hand is from fruit or tea. Unfortunate. He would like to know if the drink was from melons.

Slam the Door on Trauma!

I'm not saying that Hollywood is a dangerous place to live, but you can plainly see from this advertisement (on a bus) that if the doors were to slam you out onto the sidewalk, you would be raumat-tized, as you can read here. Also please notice the woman, shouting in pain from seeing the bus doors open.

Almost Won an Oscar(ette)

Living in Hollywood, your truly, the Hollywood Rounder, is always hankering after an award of some sort or another. Recognition is hard to come by. Last Thursday, I was the recipient of an Oscarette. That's an award that is given for the biggest liar, so of course, I won. That's a statue for those who aren't all that artistic, -ette.

And I want to thank all the little people who made this possible! Mostly that is all the viewers of the Rounder's Roundup at City Daily Photo. Further I would like to thank my camera for never failing to get a snapshot. This is the ceremony immediately after your Rounder was given a certificate of fruit basket and a permanent record of recordation in the Pantheon of Memories.
