Magnolia - the restaurant next door

This is the eastern-most restaurant in the block east of Vine Street along Sunset Blvd. There are 3 restaurants in a row here and all are within walking distance of the Arclight Cinema (the former Hollywood Pacific Dome Theater). Lots of night-life around here and because it's close to Sunset & Vine, not much in the way of "street people". Bowery & Magnolia, owned by different people, none the less are priced very similarly. Expect to shell out about $30 for a nite-on-the-town. That's dinner and a drink. As for celebrity spotting, that's pretty much hit or miss and if that's your aim, head up Vine Street to nearer Hollywood Blvd., which is less than 1/2 a mile away. Katsuya and Kabuki may be better Hollywood Hangouts. Also, Ivan Kane's Cafe __was (a visual pun - the sign read in broken neon lights - Ivan Kanes's Cafe Always Open) along Vine north of Sunset.
