Art Deco No More: 5957 Barton Avenue Burns Down

I had earlier said that the address was 950 N. El Centro Ave. - That was an error.

As I walked out to my patio this morning, a large cloud of black smoke was billowing up from south of where I live.

After a few minutes I got to the scene of the fire to find this:

The building was still on fire as I left, the fire department having decided not to save the structure, given it's age and the amount of the building already consumed by the fire. Later it is reported to be an arson fire.
