This is a woman sampling cosmetics at a kiosk at "The Grove". I'm putting "The Grove" in quotes to distinguish it from any grove, a grove, the grove (of trees) and the like. For some very odd reason, Los Angeles has bad naming conventions. Drivers are constantly confused by the terms: Santa Monica Boulevard and little Santa Monica Boulevard. In Beverly Hills, parallel to and immediately south of Santa Monica Boulevard is little Santa Monica Boulevard.
