The photo is the eastern face of the Big Wangs sports bar. The parking lot is Urban Outfitters. This is along Ivar Avenue, just south of Selma Avenue. The words, both to the left & right of the girl with the camera, say: Mischieve. Cute!
I show this wall as it's a somewhat typical of the Hollywood area to see every available inch of space used for advertising. Don't get me wrong, I'm not much against seeing some adverts, only, Hollywood can overboard with them at times. The new, uncompleted W Hotel has a place for a gigantic billboard at the Selma Avenue and Vine Street side. The same goes for the Sunset Towers at Sunset & Vine. On all four side of your condo, your view is blocked by gigantic billboards. I sometimes wonder if the condo developer shares the profits with the condo owners to defray the cost of the building's maintenance.
