Your Rounder was travelling in the San Fernando Valley and chanced by the fabulous Monte Carlo Deli and Pinocchio Italian Restaurant. Your Rounder cannot too highly suggest a lunch there. Then you can purchase sublime imported olive oils, homemade Italian sausage, and freshly made pastas and sauces.
Since his last visit, they have added a gelato bar at the deli counter. I won't bore you with the details but suffice it to say, it's the Rounder's favorite Italian spot in all of Los Angeles.

Do they have "Valley Girls" behind the counter. Love to hear them talk, if I could only understand what they say.
ReplyDeleteOddly, they have men behind the counter. Are they "Valley Boys"? The Rounder was unable to determine directly. But, the few he has spoken to were plainly understandable in plain English.
