Interior of a Gold Line Car

Because the MTA's Gold Line is above ground, the stations are all clean and free of odor. No I don't mean human waste like New Yorks. LA's underground stations are all musty smelling. Although, not all the time. Enough sea breeze and sometimes, the underground is almost pleasant.

Here the train is headed for Pasadena & points East. The blue streak through the window is Amtrak's Pacific Surfliner. It runs down to San Diego with a stop in Del Mar to let players go to the beautiful Del Mar Racetrack.
