1643 Ivar - a tacky nightclub


This door caught the Rounder off-guard. On one of his peregrinations around Hollywood, he walked down Ivar and saw this door with a tacky laser printer "notice" taped to the door. How Cheap!!! The nightclub owner's could have put it in a plastic sleeve. Ahh me ... I'm way off topic here. It's just 100 feet south of Eva Longoria (Parker's) BESO restaurant and easy to find.

This paper warning sign read, in part:

Dress Code
The dress code for Ivar Nightclub is chic / business casual. The dress code will be strictly enforced and we reserve the right to deny entry for improper dress or attitude. We may deny entry for anyone wearing jeans with holes, shirts without collars as well as sleeveless shirts. No loose or baggy clothing will be allowed along with athletic wear, ball caps or [illegible]. Work boots, athletic style shoes, or work-out shoes are not permitted. Due to guest DJs and special events, some exceptions will be made by management at the management's discretion. Thanks for your understanding.
