The Egyptian Theater, 6712 Hollywood Blvd, Los Angeles - (323) 461-2020, is no longer a "first run" movie house. It is now owned or operated by The American Cinematheque started on the Sunset Strip near Holloway Drive, eventually moving to Grauman's Egyptian, thereby saving an old cinema from the wrecking ball. The Egyptian holds Film Festivals and often one will meet industry types at these events.
