Walking further west from Vine Street, on the south side of Hollywood Blvd., you see, a nightclub named Cinespace. After Ivar Street comes Cahuenga Blvd. Cahuenga is a Chumash Indian word. Walking south along Cahuenga, currently the in-place for the Hollywood club scene, we come across Huston's BBQ restaurant. Last pix is of Hotel, a nightclub. Mandy Moore has been seen there.
Across Vine Street from the old Merv Griffin theater, most of the block between Vine Street, Selma Avenue, Hollywood Blvd. and Argyle Street is has been torn down. The video shows the cranes moving material around. This building project has been taking place for about a year now. The cranes tower over the skyline.
